Sand, Rhythm and Birkenstocks with Joao Forte
Byron Bay has a rhythm of its own. The morning started slow, walking barefoot along the tracks near the lighthouse. The sun had just come up and the ocean stretched out in every direction, catching light like glass.
Joao wore pieces from Rhythm and Ksubi, easy layers that moved with him and felt at home against the salt and wind. Down by the beach, we kicked around in the sand, Birkenstocks in hand, the kind of shoot that felt more like a day off than work.
Locals passed by with boards under arms, someone strummed a guitar under a tree, and everything smelled like sunscreen and sea. There was no plan really, just movement, laughter, and a few rolls of film.
Byron has a way of making everything feel softer. The light, the sounds, even the conversations. We stayed till the sun dipped, golden and wide, and let the day wrap up on its own. Just Rhythm, Birkenstocks, Ksubi, and the quiet pull of a perfect place.
