overview.

the campaign work for sherri hill is built around visual consistency, pace, and production discipline across stills and motion. for this seasonal launch, our team shot across the dunes and coastline of los frailes and east cape, baja california sur, with a production structure designed to support high-volume fashion coverage while keeping the imagery cohesive across web, social, and print. the shoot moved through a scout day, two dune shoot days, and a coastal day at nest baja, with stills and motion captured in parallel to maximize output from each setup. working with producer cody hill, stylist valeria entringer, and bajala production, our team led photography and served as dp, handling pre-production planning, on-set execution, and motion post, while delivering a unified set of campaign, lookbook, and launch assets.

about this production.

the visual direction for this shoot was grounded in contrast, open dune space, strong silhouettes, and clean movement against the landscape, then expanded with a coastal day at nest baja to widen the campaign language without breaking continuity. the production was structured to hold a high shooting pace while keeping the images controlled and intentional. a scout day set the rhythm first, then two dune days carried the main volume, with a final coastal day used to round out the campaign and extend the visual range.

scope of the shoot

  • shoot days: 3

  • travel days: 2

  • day 1: scout

  • day 2 to day 3: dunes

  • day 4: coastal location (nest baja)

  • looks: approx. 40 to 50 looks on the dunes alone

  • volume: approx. 50 skus per day

  • capture workflow: stills + motion captured within the same production schedule

pre-production

Pre-production centered on sequencing, location planning, and light timing across multiple environments. The scout day was used to confirm access, terrain, and movement through the dunes, then lock a structure that could handle volume without losing visual control. The schedule was built around efficient look changes and repeatable setups, keeping the team moving while maintaining continuity in styling, framing, and image direction.

shoot production

The dune days carried the main campaign coverage, with a high-volume workflow designed to move quickly while keeping the work consistent across a large number of looks. Stills and motion ran in parallel, with each setup built to serve both outputs before moving on. The NEST Baja day added a second texture to the campaign, giving the launch a broader visual range while staying inside the same overall tone and pacing established in the dunes.
