Austin Adrian Portfolio Development with Axle Management

Portfolio Shoot with Austin Adrian for Axle Management

I recently worked with Austin Adrian, a new face signed to Axle Management, a model and talent agency based in Austin, Texas. The focus of this shoot was to create a strong and versatile portfolio that captures Austin’s range, presence, and potential in both fashion and commercial work.

Highlighting Range and Expression

For this session, we kept the styling clean and intentional. The goal was to let Austin’s natural look come through while capturing a series of images that show diversity across moods and angles. From tight portraits to full-length editorial frames, the images reflect his adaptability in front of the camera.

Austin brought sharp focus to every look. Whether it was a neutral expression, a subtle shift in body language, or a more dynamic setup, he delivered with consistency and ease. It is always rewarding to work with talent who understands how to shape light and posture into something visually engaging.

Building a Strong Foundation

This portfolio shoot was crafted with agency standards in mind. Axle Management focuses on talent development, and every frame had to serve a purpose. We used neutral backgrounds, soft directional lighting, and clean compositions to create images that feel timeless and professional.

The final set gives Austin a strong base as he steps deeper into the industry. It offers casting agents and creative directors a clear sense of who he is and what he can bring to a campaign, runway, or editorial project.

Eli Samuel

Eli Samuel’s practice is grounded in a sustained curiosity for visual communication, patterns, and color. He moves between photography, design layout, printing and bookbinding, and the moving image. His work often begins with feeling, then a frame, chasing an emotional charge first to drive the viewer’s attention, then building the image around it, using tension to turn something raw into something intentional.

Through handmade books, he slows the viewer down, using sequence to control how meaning unfolds and to make the work physical and permanent. These books rely on raw, charged pairings, placing people living with something beside language used as both messaging and form. Handwritten diary notes and typography operate as image, building rhythm, pressure, and intimacy across the pages.

In commissioned work, he brings the same emotional precision and visual discipline to campaigns and editorial projects, shaping bold, cinematic images that balance authenticity with intention. He works closely with clients and creative teams to build clear visual narratives, creating photography and moving image that feels direct, elevated, and human.

His work extends across multiple ventures, including editorial and commercial photography, fine art bookmaking and printed editions, campaign and brand direction, and moving image projects.
